Enrique Arce is a 23-year-old artist from the little Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. He is in his last year of studies in Animal Science, but his true passion is art. Enrique has used many mediums to express and inspire himself; for about a year now he has really dug into photography. Enrique is also the editor of an independent literary magazine.

Matt Brehe is a history major of 21 years who lives in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana. Outside of school he is a photographic as well as musical hobbyist. He has a love for cynicism and irony, as well as a general aversion to all things art.

Megan Burger is a 21-year-old secretary who pens poetry on the office computer when the boss isn't looking. She often looks to the clouds for inspiration but finds more when looking at those she loves. A writer since age 13, Meg spends her down time trying to make ends meet, though the ends want nothing to do with each other. She keeps company with a hamster and a boyfriend and enjoys playing video games with one of them.

Alaina Burri-Stone is a 23-year-old experimental photographer living in Canada. She works mainly in self-portraits and uses her images as tools for self-understanding and exploration of space and surrounding elements. Currently her work is being collected at her website: http://www.handmaid.org.

Michael Callahan’s work is mainly about the people and relationships in his life. He is also very interested in film and thinks that comes through in the images. Michael is continuing the idea of film by starting to work with narratives by using diptychs/triptychs.

Gisela Casimiro is a 19-year-old Portuguese girl majoring in communication who intends to become a journalist, a doctor and a writer, in order to help other people around the globe. She believes everything one does must serve a major purpose: peace, and she is currently in love with Sebastião Salgado's work and wants to be just like him when she grows up. In other words, she seeks the true essence of humankind, hidden beneath the eyes of those who suffer the most.

Alana Celii is a young girl who likes to take photographs. She was born in Chicago in the year 1986.

Rachel Combs-Gullick is a self-taught artist residing in Nashville, TN whose photography has been described as a surrealistic voyage into a world of obscure detail. Her days are spent daydreaming and celebrating the world around her through her own artistic vision. She is also the founder, editor and artistic director of Filtered Magazine.

Jennifer Coombes sometimes forgets to comb her hair but never forgets to bring her camera. She forgets the most elementary basics but can repeat verbatim whole conversations occurring in rooms full of objects she can tell you all about. She has a cat named Mouse and resides in Kansas City, Missouri working as photojournalist trying not to starve. Someday she will be the next big thing, right now she is the best thing in hiding.

Don Cucchi prefers to have his work do the talking. Though subjects and interests vary, style remains constant, as do respective muses. There is an underlying mood that threads the images together - a posture that offers insight into the photographer's creative process.

Shannon Doubleday was born and raised outside of Washington, D.C., but soon will reside somewhere in London. She will wear a green robe when she completes her degree in English literature. She likes the color navy blue, the fire inside, and zone one.

Kristina Duncan is a young woman who has just started to define herself. Like a heart and a pair of lungs, a camera is essential to her being. Belinda Grames lives a quiet, mostly happy life in a beach house on the wild, wet coast of Western Canada. She lives there with her husband, their sons, two fuzzy cats, and plenty of down quilts. The camera, her pen, and notebooks have become her life companions.

Edoardo Hahn lives in Milan. After attending a university and working in publishing and information technology, he started his career as a photographer in 2001, progressively making a profession out of a passion. His work is focused particularly on new urban landscapes: malls, ghettos, office districts, airports, highways, hotels, business centers-- areas sometimes too crowded, sometimes too empty as a result of changing of our times, way of life, and architectural styles. His attention for every form of diversity, from urban architecture to natural landscape and to every expression of ordinary life, has drawn the attention of national and international critics to his work.

Matt Harra is a small island off the coast of California, with perhaps the smallest population of any sovereign nation. At an altitude of 6'1, Matt Harra thrives thanks to tourist attractions like cheap cigars and tango lessons. Exports include: photography, empty hallways, bright sweatshirts, and being awesome.

Dr. Felix Izrailev started his photography career over 40 years ago. Starting with black-and-white photography, he later switched to color slides, and since 1990 he works almost exclusively with color prints. However, only recently he decided to share his work with the public. A Russian physicist now living in the U.S. and traveling around the world, he captures the feeling of the moment in a wide variety of settings and scenery, from Siberia to Chile and Australia.

Mary Elizabeth Lamb likes to make photographs & swim in the ocean. She lives in the southwest where she is trying to live her life both beautiful and brave.

Bijou Laviolette currently resides in Canada. She obtained her International Affairs BA in the state of California. During 2004 she lived in four cities, three states, two countries, and one province. She likes polar exploration, wearing tweed trousers, the snow, beluga whales, and watching her husband cook.

Samantha Marcelo lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where she writes poetry and short fiction in roughly ten million half-used notebooks. Her work has appeared in Milo, Broken Pencil and Kiss Machine.

Mike Martens' earthy brown eyes view the world through science fiction spectacles. On crisp fall days, hearing Elvis' "In the Ghetto" brings a smile to his face like no other song can. A resident of the second city, Mike is a prose poet with the principles of a journalist, a precarious balance seen in full effect in his magazine, Robots Fighting.

Niamh McDonnell lives in Ireland. She is a 21-year-old self-taught amateur photographer, working mostly in the digital realm. She became interested in photography several years ago, and in it has found a way of expressing herself and taking a different view of the world around her. Jonathan Moore is a photographer and designer from Lexington, KY. He usually photographs all things Americana, places of mass transit, empty public spaces, and colored translucent materials. Caroll' Planque is a 28-year-old experimental photographer and writer. Her main inspirations are past memories, how to remind and keep them alive, and restricted feminine space that she expresses via self-portraits. She has been working on an online diary since 2001, a post per day, and her short stories are published in several French books. Her work was recently featured at the E-Motion exhibition, Lisbon. She lives in Paris, France with two rats.

Tyler Ritter is a musician who brings new meaning to the term 'obscure.' He lives in Portland, OR working at a local chain of Thai restaurants as a food runner/busser/host. He passes his time as most struggling musicians do making demo cds and sending them into a dark void from whence they shall never return and are not likely to be listened to and emailing and calling club owners repeatedly and never hearing back from them. He writes sporadically and rarely lets anyone see it because he's such a damned perfectionist that he's never happy with what he's written and if he is it's usually too personal to show anyone anyway.

Christy Romanick, a Boston Massachusetts photographer/musician has been exploring through the lens of a camera for the last 11 years. The results are abstract images, which reflect upon a dreamy subconscious state of mind through the interplay of light and space.

Sara Santoni a.k.a. Blackcoffee3biscuits, is an Italian 22 year-old part-time singer that loves human beings. She mainly takes self-portraits but recently started a new series with two models. Simone Sbarbati is a 26-year-old Italian freelance photographer. He began taking photos about three years ago with a Nikon FM2, but soon fell in love with digital photography and currently employs an Olympus myu300 and a Sigma SD-9. Simone is fond of architectural photography, especially abandoned places, and everything that is ruined by use and/or time.

Svetlana Sergueeva
Born in Russia in the third quarter of 20'th century, Svetlana Sergueeva moved to the USA by the end of the second Millennium. Ever since she is wandering between the two places.

About 12 years back I got my first compact camera as a gift. Since then, trying to keep the small arm (currently a Cannon Z135) under my arm ;-), I have been shooting while moving around in vain attempts to imprint the moments of amazement by world’s appearances.

Robert is a wavering leaf. He is at constant battle with his surroundings. Currently an accountant, he has aspirations to crawl out of the pathetically-mutated office gene pool and help humanity strive for new evolution. Or would it be better to say revolution?

Leigh Stein writes stories when she's not crying her eyes out in acting school. She has been published in Unwritten Words, Small Spiral Notebook, and Sleeps With Monsters (a literary/photography journal she co-edits). Leigh plans on writing a staggering novel loaded with ironic chitchat and early '90's pop culture references by the time she's 20.

Leilani Wertens is a young Asian American woman making the transition from small-town Southern life to the fast paced life of Los Angeles, keeping her camera close at hand all the while. She tends to unnerve people while leaning out of her car window at stoplights to snap photographs of the sunrise, or by getting excited by the glint of Chinese marbles. Currently pursuing a degree in print journalism and international relations, Leilani also sketches, shops at miniscule 'bohemian shops' and designs websites. Most of all she cannot live without her chocolate covered strawberries, e-publications and media glimpses of Prince William.

Mirela Zdjelaric was born in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, and raised by two creative parents. Inspiration comes from everyday life. Digital camera is her eye, it invites creativity, and takes her imagination to new levels. Mirela’s motto is: "To create something from nothing."
